The Knights of Columbus will host its annual “Get Hooked on Fishing, Not On Drugs” fishing derby on Saturday, June 29. 

The derby will be held from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. at Mello’s Pond. The pond is located on Old Westport Road one mile west of UMass Dartmouth at the end of a dirt lane. A rain date is set for Saturday, July 13.

The derby is free to enter, and is open to children between the ages of six and 16. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Bait will be provided.
