Dartmouth fire districts welcome 12 graduates

Dartmouth’s three fire districts welcomed a total of 12 newly certified
firefighters to its rosters after they graduated from a call/volunteer firefighter academy.

Each of the 12 trainees were required to go through a 230-hour Massachusetts Fire Academy training program.

District No. 1 had seven people graduate at ceremonies on June 26. They include Joshua Amaral, Joshua Cabral, Lucas Dwight, Erik Ferreira, Steven Gomes, Kenneth Green, and Kevin Kelly.

District No. 2 had one firefighter graduate, Tyler Lopes. District No. 3 had four graduates, including Daniel Saucier, Richard Fernandes, Julie-Anne Giusti, and Joshua Grenier.

The firefighters each earned certificates in first response, CPR, and firefighter I and
II training.
