Dartmouth Police arrested a New Bedford man on January 28 after discovering he was wanted for child cruelty charges in Georgia.

Police say Officer Josh Fredette encountered 22-year-old Lamondaryl Payne outside of the King's Inn Gentlemen's Club, 635 State Road, at 2:15 a.m.

In conducting an "expanded check" on Payne, Fredette discovered an active, extraditable warrant issued in Fulton County, Georgia, for second degree cruelty to children.
