Jun 26, 2017

The Bridge: A Center for Hope and Healing will host two meditation programs this summer.

Acupuncture:

The Acupuncture for Peace workshop will be held at the center's 351 Elm Street location on July 17, 10 a.m.-12 p.m. Acupuncturist Deb Stevens will introduce participants to the Chinese medical technique that uses needles to tap into a person's energy system and restores balance. The cost is $20. Pre-registration is required; call (508) 997-0903.

Gong bath:

Stevens will also lead a gong bath on August 5, 6:30-8 p.m. The gong bath is a form of sound therapy, relying primarily on Tibetan gongs, bowls, and bells to helps participants dream, heal, and relax. Pre-registration is required; class limited to 25 participants.

The cost is $20.00 per person. Bring a yoga mat, pillow, and blanket to lie down on, or a zero-gravity lounge chair.
