Elisabeth M. (MacKinstry) Robert, 75, of Dartmouth died Saturday, April 6, 2024 at Royal of Cape Cod after a period of declining health.

 

Born in New Bedford, daughter of the late Edgar and Betty (Erickson) MacKinstry, she lived in Wyoming, Hawaii, and Colorado before moving back to Massachusetts in 1977.

 

She was a graduate of Waynflete Preparatory School in Maine, where she was an honors student and played field hockey. She later graduated from Boston University with a Master's Degree in Social Work.

 

Elisabeth was formerly employed as a social worker at Coastline Elderly, Bristol Elder Services, and then in private practice for many years until her retirement.

 

She loved being at the beach, spending time with her grandchildren, cooking, baking, and was an avid reader.

 

Survivors include her son, Shawn Robert and his wife Christine Patacao; her brother, E.W. "Bud" MacKinstry, Jr. and his wife Belinda; 3 grandchildren, Riley, Lilly, and Scarlett; and 3 nieces.
