Toddler Shamrock Party

The Bay State Gymnastics Academy is celebrating St. Patrick’s Day with an afternoon of gymnastics, games, crafts and more from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 24 Ventura Drive in North Dartmouth.
The event is intended for children ages 2 to 3. Admission is $22 per child.

Jewelry, music and snacks

Strawberry Moon, located at 312 Elm St., is hosting an event where people can craft jewelry and other crafts using crystals, beads, glitter and other materials.
The event will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m and will include music, trivia, prizes and snacks.

Student art exhibit

A reception for a high student art exhibit is being held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Dartmouth Cultural Center at 404 Elm Street. The artwork includes photography, acrylic paintings, three-dimensional art and photography. See page 14 to learn more.

Equinox owl prowl

Research associate Jamie Bogart will lead people on a search for owls from 6:45 p.m. to 8:45 p.m. at the Lloyd Center.
The cost of admission is $20 for members and $25 for non-members. Children under 12 are half-off.
The age-limit is 10 years and older.
People should wear warm clothing, good boots, and binoculars.
Pre-registration is required by noon on Tuesday, March 19.

See some seals

Jamie Bogart will be leading people on a walk from Salter’s Point to Mishaum Point in search of seals along the shore and basking on the rocks.
The event will be held from 10 a.m. to noon and is free.

Candidates Night

A Select Board Candidates night will take place from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the North Branch Library.
Select Board candidates Christopher O’Neil, John Sousa and David Tatelbaum will be there.
Attendees will have the chance to ask the candidates questions to learn their stances on important issues in Dartmouth.
