Marathon Monday was a success for these Dartmouth finishers who participated in the 128th Boston Marathon.

Resident Alex Boswell, 29, finished the race in 5 hours 52 minutes  and 41 seconds, according to his recorded Net Time by the Boston Athletic Association.

Resident Emily Decelles, 28, completed the marathon in 4 hours 50 minutes 7 seconds, and David Hawkins, 60, finished with the best time among residents in 3 hours 46 minutes 36 seconds. 

Decelles said, “I had a remarkable experience on the course; the crowd energy and spirit for the marathon was unlike any other race I’ve done.”

She added she is “content” with the time she managed “considering how many hills we consecutively dace on the course, especially while running through Newton.”
