This Saturday, September 23rd from 6:30 to 10:00 PM the 4th Saturday Contra Dance will be held at the Wareham Boys & Girls Club in Onset Village. Door donation is $8.00 for adults, $6.00 for students with ID and seniors. Ask about membership to the Cultural Connection, Inc.

There is always LIVE music at the 4th Saturday Contra Dance! This month, distinguished contra fiddler, Christine Warren will be accompanied by, John Peck on keyboard, Anna Magee on mandolin and Oliver Farrell on bass. It is worth attending if only to enjoy the evening's harmony. New England area dance caller, Maestro Paul Wilde will lead the dance with his sensible yet delightful contra grooves.

For the 'social dance curious,' every contra dance has a "caller" who rhythmically instructs the dancers as to which step will come next so every dancer knows what to do next. Arrive at 6:30 PM for some free instruction if you like; the dance starts at 7:00 PM.

Contra Dance bumper stickers, like those pictured, will be on sale at the door for $3.00 to help finance the ongoing dances.

Come by with friends and family to enjoy this rejuvenating form of dance. Light refreshments served. Bring a favorite dish to share if you'd like.

Support the arts and come to the dance where there is always live music and good friends!

The Boys & Girls Club is located at 13 Highland Ave. in Onset/Wareham MA at the corner of Highland Ave. and Eleventh St.
